Do you see how important it was for Jesus to protect His name, that by the mention of "JUST" his name things move and miracles happen.

The prayer of Jabez
Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, "Because I bore him in pain." And Jabez called out to the God of Israel,"If only you would bless me and enlarge my territory! May your hand be with me and keep me from harm, so that I would be free from pain." And God granted the request of Jabez...
Notice what the mother had named the son- Jabez which means pain. From his prayer he is asking God to keep him away/ free of pain, which means his life must have been of pain. All this beginning with his name. So when everyone was calling him pain and he would respond then that means he is agreeing and as a result the universe sends more pain to his life.
What have you called your children? How would you address them? What do you speak in your life, the life of your children, your husband, your family, your friends, your neighbors, your clients, your employers, your employees?
Hakuna mwanaume ni faithful.
Universe: Your wish is my command.
Boom- even your once good husband haoni skirt na macho.
Haki huyu mtoto haskiangi maneno. Kuja hapa mjinga wewe.
Universe: Your wish is my command.
Boom- Your kids become slow and unmanageable.
Haki ni kama nilirogwa. Natafuta kazi sipati.
Universe: Your wish is my command.
Boom- You will tarmac all your life.
The good news is that you can change your story and unchange the history. Jabez was aware of this and therefore he asked of God of Israel to keep him away from pain. Pain that had followed him from the time his mother conceived him till the time he was seeking God's intervention.
Be conscious of how you speak to and about yourself. Do not speak negatively even in a joke. The universe does not know the difference.
Exodus 3:13-14
Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them,'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,'and they ask me,'What is his name?' Then what shall I tell them?"
God said to Moses,"I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I am has sent me to you."
Now you understand when we are told we were made in the image of God. His name is I AM.
So anything you say after I am it becomes, for you have mentioned the name of the Lord in it.
Therefore use positive words:
I am happy. I am loved. I am blessed. I am highly favored. I am renewed in my youth. I am beautiful. I am a good friend. I am the best mother to my children. I am successful.
Start everyday commanding your day and sending positive vibes and see the tremendous change it will have on your life.
Speak life in every dead area of your life.
I was joking the other day- I named my son "a brave lion". If you see how he behaves even when playing with his peers, he always wants to dominate, he has to be the one who chooses what they play with, where they play, and he has to be the leader of the pack and I was like yes this is what you were named. If I see any character that is not what he was meant to be I point it out and address it.
My second born- "a winner, ruler of the home", that's what his name stands for. This one controls the mood of the house and everything in it. He has had his downs but he has always come out a winner. We thank God.
I love how parents who are conscious of the power use it even when speaking to their children.

There are couples who even use on their spouses with words like, "My King", "My Queen"
Self love is important so first and foremost change your world before you change the world. Change how you address and carry yourself and people will meet you up there. Remember if people look down on you it's because you yourself look down on you.
